Editorial and disclosure policy

Trust needs visible rules.

Our directory is designed to distinguish recorded evidence, provider claims, editorial organization and commercial placements.

Source hierarchy

We prefer official product pages, documentation, pricing, repositories, security disclosures, app stores and dated announcements. Strong independent sources may add context. Third-party directories are discovery leads, not authority for copied descriptions, rankings, ratings or reviews.

Verification and uncertainty

Material facts should retain a source and checked date. Missing, conflicting or inaccessible evidence should be marked as unknown, limited or awaiting verification—not filled with assumptions. A “researched” or “verified” label describes recorded evidence; it is not a certification of the company.

Comparisons and ordering

Comparisons should use the same documented decision factors for each product and clearly identify unavailable data. Category order, related products and trending modules can reflect taxonomy, relevance and aggregate readership signals; they are not declarations that one product is universally best.

Commercial relationships

Advertising, partner placements and affiliate relationships may generate revenue. Commercial relationships do not purchase factual findings, verification labels or favourable rankings. Commercial modules are separated from directory evidence, and affiliate participation never changes the stated research standard.

Logos, screenshots and trademarks

Logos, favicons, screenshots and trademarks identify the referenced provider. Rights remain with their owners. Screenshots are dated, read-only records and may become outdated. Rights holders may request correction or removal through the contact address below.

Corrections and appeals

Email [email protected] with the page URL, requested correction and a primary source. We review material corrections against evidence and may retain a record of significant changes. Providers may supply sources but cannot dictate independent category or comparison treatment.
